TV installation includes a project assessment when the technician arrives, unpacking the TV, securely mounting it, connecting compatible video devices, neatly organizing the wires, testing the setup, and cleaning up installation debris. Additional services such as wire concealment, mounts, cables, or specialty installation may cost extra.

A straightforward TV mounting appointment usually takes about 20 to 40 minutes. More complex installations involving brick or stone, wire concealment, fireplaces, oversized TVs, or additional devices may take one to two hours or longer.

Yes. Go Mounting can install TVs above many fireplaces. The installation method depends on the wall material, fireplace construction, mounting height, available power, and wire-concealment options. Let us know about the fireplace when booking so the technician can arrive prepared.

Wire concealment is available as an additional service. Depending on the wall and power location, cables may be routed inside the wall or covered with an external cord-concealment channel for a cleaner finished appearance.

The best height depends on the room, seating position, TV size, viewing distance, and your preferences. In most rooms, the screen should be positioned near seated eye level to create a comfortable viewing angle and reduce neck strain. Your technician can recommend a height before drilling begins.

You should have the TV and any devices you want connected available at the appointment. You may provide your own compatible wall mount, cables, and accessories, or Go Mounting may be able to supply compatible mounting brackets, HDMI cables, concealment materials, and other installation items for an additional cost.

Whenever possible, the mounting bracket is secured directly to wall studs or another suitable structural surface. When stud placement does not work with the desired position, the technician will evaluate whether approved anchors, toggle bolts, specialty mounting hardware, or another mounting method is appropriate for the TV and wall.
